The First Startup Weekend on Medicinal Plants to be Held in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province

The first startup weekend on medicinal plants will be held on March 8th and 9th in Islamic Azad University of Shahr-e Kord in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.

According to DANA, the first startup weekend on medicinal plants will be held on March 8th and 9th in Islamic Azad University of Shahr-e Kord in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.

In a shared meeting between Science and Technology Park of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and Islamic Azad University of Shar-e Kord, the head of Science and Technology Park of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Esmaeel Pirali said, “Considering the potentials of Islamic Azad University of Shar-e Kord in medicinal plants, the province’s native capacity i.e. the existence of over 1300 plant species as well as a suitable climate for the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, the first ever startup weekend will be held with the aim of identifying the ideas that are able to be commercialized in the field of medicinal plants and supporting such ideas for the completion of the science-to-wealth chain, by Science and Technology Park of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and Islamic Azad University of Shar-e Kord.”

Pirali indicated that the presentation of the valuable prizes, and the disposition in Science and Technology Park as well as the technology branches of Islamic Azad University of Shar-e Kord, are among the privileges of the chosen groups of this scientific event.
