Vice President’s visit Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company

Vice-president for Science and Technology, Dr. Soorena Sattari, accompanied by Dr. Peyman Salehi and Dr Mohammad Hassan Assareh, paid a visit to Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company and stressed the government support of medicinal plants’ technology development.

Vice-president for Science and Technology, Dr. Soorena Sattari, accompanied by Dr. Peyman Salehi, the secretary for National Network of Research and Technology in Medicinal Plants and Dr. Mohammad Hassan Assareh, the secretary of the Council for Science and Technology Development of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicine paid a visit to Islamic Republic of Iran National Observatory together with Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company and Golkaran agro-industry (Barij Essence Agriculture Complex) in Kashan province.

Further into this trip, a meeting was held with the representative of Aran and Bidgol, the governor, the faculty members and the Principal of Kashan university, with the vice-president for Science and Technology delivering a speech.

Sattari referred to the globalization of carpet, essential oil, medicinal plants and tourism industries of Kashan, and said, “We are fully prepared to support the basic subjects such as carpet, essential oils, medicinal plants and tourism of Kashan, to the point that we can also, establish a technology tower in Kashan province.”

Vice-president for Science and Technology further said, “The donors who are willing to invest in scientific and research fields and science-based projects which lead to production will receive 30 percent of the cost without any reference to the government and with ex gratia payment by this vice-presidency.
