As of 2012, National Council for Science and Technology Development of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicine has been holding the biggest biennial exhibition and festival on medicinal plants, natural-based products and traditional medicine with the largest participants turning up, including the industry contributors. It was arranged for the 5th event to take place in September 2020; however, it was postponed due to the Corona Virus Pandemic. The nature of this exhibition is to establish synergy between the majority of the contributors, producers and those active in this industry, as well as to unveil the latest achievements, all of which are in line with the support of the vice-presidency of Science and Technology. The council has planned to virtually hold the 5th National Exhibition between 14-17th December of this year. The exhibition is held in line with the achievement of this year’s motto, “production, support and elimination of obstacles.”
