Iran and Romania Discuss Collaborations in Terms of Forests, Rangelands and Medicinal Plants
In a meeting in Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Romania discussed the collaborations in terms of forests, rangelands and medicinal plants.
Khodakaram Jalali, Head of Iran’s Forest, Range and Watershed Management Organization, in a meeting with Romania’s Minister of Environment, Waters and Forestry, Christina Pasca Palmer, indicated that medicinal plants are Iran’s rangelands and forests’ prominent features, which have high potentials in Iran and that they can have a huge impact on the both countries’ business interactions.
Christina Pasca Palmer, Romania’s Minister of Environment, Waters and Forestry, also referred to the variety of medicinal plants in Romania and said, “There are plenty of medicinal plant varieties in Romania that are part of protected areas, and there can be great collaborations and business interactions with Iran.”
