Allocation of 7000 Hectares of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province’s Lands to Medicinal Plants’ Cultivation

Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari’s governor has indicated that 7000 hectares of its lands are allocated to the cultivation of medicinal plants.

In an interview with Mehr reporter, Qasem Soleimani Dashtaki referred to the 7000 hectares of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari’s lands that are allocated to the cultivation of medicinal plants and said, “The expansion of medicinal plants’ cultivation has been taken into consideration through the government’s activities in this province.”

He added, “The potential for medicinal plants’ cultivation in this province must be used to develop it and provide employment.”

Qasem Soleimani Dashtaki went on to say, “Due to Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province’s topographic and special local conditions, this province has a potential to cultivate a large number of medicinal plants, and at the moment we are planning to expand the lands of this province to cultivate these plants.”

This governor of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari stated, “There should be more consideration and attention devoted to the establishment of complexes for the medicinal plants’ cultivation and the grounds for employment of the graduates as well as the youth must be prepared.”

Indicating that medicinal plants’ cultivation and processing make it possible to further develop this province, he added, “We must use these potentials to develop the province.”
