Theoretical and practical workshop on Isolation and Purification of Active Principle Component from the Leaf of Olea europaeae L., was held in National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, on Wednesday February 8th, 2017.

In this workshop, the purification of oleuropin from the leaf of Olea europaeae L. was carried out using column chromatography and HPLC, and the fractions which were collected together with the purified oleuropin were compared using FTIR.

This educational workshop was among a list of educational workshops which have been held by National Network of Research and Technology in Medicinal plants with the collaboration of National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
