4th National Congress in Medicinal Plants Concluded

4th National Congress in Medicinal Plants which was held on the 12th and 13th of May in Razi International Conference Center, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, ended on Wednesday evening after introducing prominent posters and honoring the oral presenters.

4th National Congress in Medicinal Plants which was held on the 12th and 13th of May in Razi International Conference Center, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, ended on Wednesday evening after introducing prominent posters and honoring the oral presenters.

In this two-day congress, which is considered as the biggest scientific event in Medicinal plants and traditional medicine, 1776 papers were delivered to the secretariat and after refereeing  1362 papers were accepted by the scientific  committee of the congress. These papers were presented in two forms of either posters or oral presentations.

This congress was held by the National Network of Research and Technology in Medicinal Plants and collaborated by Vice-presidency for Science and Technology-Council of Science and Technology Development in Medicinal Plants, and took almost a year of consistent efforts to be assembled.

In the closing ceremony of the 4th National Congress in Medicinal Plants, 28 lecturers were honored and the 10 selected posters received cash prizes.

The papers’ booklet together with the pictorial reports will soon be available on the website of National Network of Research and Technology in Medicinal plants (www.mpnet.ir).

It should be noted that the 5th National Congress in Medicinal Plants will be held by National Network of Research and Technology in Medicinal Plants in Isfahan on 11th and 12th of May 2016.
