A 20-Million-Dollar Export of Herbal Medicine to Four Asian Countries
Director general of International Business Development, Vice-presidency for Science and Technology said,”Today, in an agreement with a Malaysian trading and production company, it has been settled to export 20 million dollars worth of Iranian herbal medicine to the four Asian countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.”
In the sideline of the signing of this agreement between the Malaysian company and the five Iranian knowledge-based companies, Roohollah Estiri said, “In compliance with this agreement, the herbal medicine produced by this five Iranian knowledge-based companies will be exported to the four mentioned countries, for the period of one year.”
Estiri further explained, “15 items of herbal therapeutic medicine and, beauty and cosmetic products of these five knowledge-based companies will be exported to those countries.”
According to the director general of International Business Development, Vice-presidency for Science and Technology, this agreement has been signed for 2016 and may be extended into the coming years.
Referring to this Malaysian company getting familiar with the Iranian products through the Iranian export base in China, he added, “At the moment, Iranian export bases have been established in five countries and it is planned to add ten more export bases in South America, Africa and the Middle East, until the end of next year.”
