Medicinal Plants Production and Processing Backed by Ministry of Agriculture Jihad

“Processing of agricultural products, including medicinal plants, will be completely supported,” said the minister of Agriculture Jihad.

During his visit to the manufacturers of medicinal plants’ aroma water, Minister of Agriculture Jihad, Mahmoud Hojjati, further noted, “We have had the best orchards in terms of different aspects of agriculture both in farming and horticulture,in Mobarak Abaad as well as Qir and Karzin.”

He stated, “As we approach Firouz Abaad, we witness great agriculture with high efficiency and productivity, as well as medicinal plants, pasture plants and medicinal plants extracts of Meymand. This area is the cradle of medicinal plants extracts, and nature is extremely favorable for the production of these plants.”

Minister of Agriculture Jihad went on to say, “These products are manufactured in Meymand company and farmers as well as producers are supported in terms of agriculture and horticulture, in every way relevant to efficient use of water, that is, the latest irrigation systems.”

Hojjati noted, “Due to the steep lands and natural potentials in Meymand region, the coverage of medicinal plants in natural areas, and the agriculture of the plants in their natural habitats, all demand our obligatory support.”

He stressed, “Based on Article 3 of Law of Natural Resources, we are prepared to provide lands to the manufacturing entrepreneurs, sign contracts and we insist that whatever belongs to the wealthy belongs to the general public, and eventually the government feels fulfilled.”
