The 6th National Congress on Medicinal Plants was held in Adineh Complex in Tehran on Wednesday and Thursday, 9th and 10th of May 2017. Below you will find the pictorial report of this congress.
A team of officials from China’s Medicinal Plants Association came to Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce to discuss collaborations in medicinal plants production and trade.
Secretary of National Council for Science and Technology Development of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicine, Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, said, “The instructions for the preparation and implementation of entrepreneurship programs in medicinal plants and traditional medicine have been written and compiled.”
The sixth National Congress on Medicinal Plants was held by National Network of Research and Technology in Medicinal Plants, in Adineh Cultural-Educational Complex, for two days. This congress was regarding agriculture and natural resources, basic sciences, medicine, pharmacy and veterinary as well as industry and economy.
The 6th National Congress on Medicinal Plants will be held by National Network of Research and Technology on Medicinal Plants on May 9th and 10th, 2017 in Tehran.
All those active in the field of medicinal plants are hereby invited to present their plans, ideas and projects to our office, in order to create and develop the relevant businesses in the cyberspace. Having received them, the best plans and ideas will be chosen and the necessary cooperation and support will be given to set up and implement the projects.
The director of Medicinal Plants Department of Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture Jihad indicated that there is a project to establish five export terminals for these products.
The first startup weekend on medicinal plants will be held on March 8th and 9th in Islamic Azad University of Shahr-e Kord in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
Medicinal plants are 8 % and they are exempt from value-added tax. Their export too, is exempt from charges and taxes. However, they require a permit from Plant Protection Organization or any other organization which determines buyers.
The very first technical idea show on “Business and Entrepreneurship in Medicinal Plants” has been held by Medicinal Plants’ Development Center of Yazd academic center for education, culture and research (ACECR) with the collaboration of Technology Commercialization Organization and Graduates Occupation of ACECR of this province.
